THOUGHT FOR NOVEMBER

Sometimes we can be touched, deeply, by the seemingly ordinary moments of our existence. We recognise a hidden magic with the base metal of our day to day stuff and if we have the courage we can turn that base metal into gold. It is a kind of Alchemy. When you search for angels, where do you look? Do you turn to the great Teachers and Gurus? Do you adopt a more scholarly approach and study the writings of the Ancients and the Contemporaries? Do you immerse yourself in workshops and courses awaiting the moment when the angels decide you have paid your dues and now they may reveal themselves in some oblique fashion?
Or....?
Is it possible that the angels you are seeking are already with you? Embedded in the very fabric of your life, awaiting recognition and permission to touch you? Do you allow this to be even a possibility? Do you accept that these mighty and illumined beings infuse the spaces in between our conscious and unconscious mind with their presence?
Look at this image I have chosen for you. What do you see?
Red clouds? A bit of a sunset going on?
Look again.
Within that moment I recognised a great and beautiful HEART, fashioned from the nothingness of light and vapour and made glorious and perfect . . . just within that moment. I have no hesitation to say this is the manifest work of angels, the architects of beauty and creation. Step into a place of possibility, an acceptance of beauty, without condition or agenda. This life is indeed an epic and if you allow yourself, you will hear the unheard laughter. . . and have the courage to join in.
