THOUGHT FOR SEPTEMBER

“Know that the Truth is encoded within the people and that they will find it. See them always, as if they are remembering it, and know that what you do helps them such to do.”

An extract from “I Remember Union” the story of Mary Magdalena by Flo Aeveia Magdalena

I was reminded of this extract when I recounted a recent personal experience to a group of Lightworkers on 23rd August 2009 and one of them quoted Flo’s words back to me.

Each year, I am invited to take part in a very special event at a local college for chronically disabled youngsters. It celebrates the end of term, and for many, the end of their time at the college, it embraces all aspects of diversity including faith, sexuality, lifestyle choices and abilities. This was to be my 5th year of participation.

I take my angels, much as I would for a MBS fair, but there is no expectation to sell anything, merely to share in openness and love with anyone who wants to find out more about my work and to hear my own Truth.

On this occasion a young man in a wheelchair came over, he was very damaged and found it difficult to speak, but he managed a broad grin and to say “Beautiful . . . tell me!” as he pointed at a painting called “The Bridge of Light”. I went to stand beside him and asked if he would like to hear the words associated with the painting . . . . he nodded enthusiastically. I put my hand on the nape of his neck, and felt him relax immediately, I read out the words, and he responded with joy and recognition.

When I finished, I was aware of a young woman standing by his chair, his carer, and she was bristling with anger. She berated me for filling the young mans head with “nonsense” and telling him things he could not possibly understand. I countered that he had indeed understood, and as he was still sitting between us in his chair, I looked towards him and he was nodding in acknowledgement. Ignoring the fact that this young man could see and hear everything, this woman continued her tirade and accusations implying that there were “people” who were not able to discern what is essentially a “story” from “fact”. As she got more heated, I found myself become calmer and cooler. Eventually I asked her “What would you have me do? Judge each one who comes to me and decide whether they look capable of understanding. On what basis would I judge?”

I refused to accept that I should withhold from anyone my Truth, which after all had been requested for the event for 5 years running, and suggested that she should perhaps consider her own fears related to her work with the students. She specialised in Autism and Aspergers and was extremely “black and white”. I gave her a little leaflet to read, just something I produced to help people understand this concept of angelic connection. She suddenly relaxed, apologised for her rude and aggressive attack and asked if she could attempt to translate my words into something that she felt would be appropriate for students with the difficulties she worked with. I told her it would be brilliant. . . perfect and to please let me know when it was done as I would be very interested! To date I have not heard from her, but I live in hope that I will.

The young man had absolutely the capacity to engage with my work, to accept the subtle meaning of the words and to enjoy the experience of the angels at whatever level he needed to. I had no need to temper or to modify the delivery, I saw his Soul as equal to any other, and on that basis, the perfect exchange took place.
