THOUGHT FOR MAY
Nature will always “out think” us... but as we are not privy to the intimate workings of its consciousness we will always be vulnerable to misinterpreting the outcomes.
Nature will always serve the greater good, not just the human element, whether we are able to see that from our very limited perspectives is questionable, but we are not powerless to make a positive contribution through our actions and our own resilience.
I delivered these words at a public talk at Nottingham Contemporary on 31.3.10. They constituted a “prediction” which was part of the particular presentation, and specifically related to the future prospects of the relationship between humans and honey bees.
Little did I anticipate the bigger implications of this statement, as a few days later the world was held to ransom by a volcanic eruption, bringing to a halt the best laid plans of many.
