THOUGHT FOR JANUARY

I call upon your soul, Beloved, to embrace the potential
of “All that is to come”, Heralded on wings of Light.

As Sentinel to the moment, I bring you to a point of
Stillness, hold you in the pause between Creations
Sacred in-breath and out-breath.

Relax into me; know, this is the moment you have longed for;
the revelation of the All.

“ At this time of year we are all full of such good intentions, our plans for our new year ahead are freshly made and we are glad to move on, into a different space. Sometimes, we make plans that are so tight, so restricting and so limiting that we are doomed to fail before we even get started. Often, those plans are devised to make us “better”: to lose weight, to stop smoking, to change our jobs, to cut out the alcohol, to make more money, to spend less, to stop this and start doing that. . . and so it goes. This angel has come as a symbol of the potential within all that you are. Tread more softly. Allow things to unfold, there is no need to be so brutal with yourself. Allow the pause to carry you, drift with it; see how it feels where you settle. Relax, let go of expectation of your self and of others. When you let go the tight grip of the “demon” it often just runs away rather than turning around to bite you again.
Whatever your intention; trust that you can fulfil it in a way that honours your Self, allowing you to be just exactly who you are in the process. Trust your Self and find your stillness. In stillness you may hear your own Truth and the battle is already won.”
